Ndukwe, who disclosed this to reporters while monitoring the ongoing registration at some Computer Based Test (CBT) centres in Lagos, said the February 21 deadline for the registration process remains sacrosanct. The JAMB boss also justified the ban on some cyber cafes for the registration process, saying they are responsible for various malpractices and fraud in the registration process. “What we saw is that the Registrar, Prof. Ishiaq Oloyede, is very right in banning cyber cafes. We found out that most of the fraudulent things that happened took place at the cyber cafes and that is why we banned them. So far, we have not heard complaints emanating from such previous practices that were noticed in the cyber cafes, especially over-charging candidates.
